The AI4COPSEC project was disseminated by our partner Guardia Civil during the SICUR 2026 International Security Exhibition, held from 24 to 27 February 2026 at IFEMA Madrid, Spain.
Recognised as one of the leading security events in Spain, SICUR brings together a broad range of stakeholders from the security ecosystem, including large companies, SMEs, public administrations, and practitioners from different Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). The event therefore offered an excellent opportunity to increase the visibility of AI4COPSEC among key actors in the security field.
During SICUR 2026, the Guardia Civil promoted the project through several dissemination actions carried out at its institutional stand. These included the continuous screening of a video presenting EU-funded projects, including AI4COPSEC, the distribution of project dissemination materials, and the use of table tent cards with QR codes enabling visitors to access further information about the project. In addition, members of the Guardia Civil’s Technological Innovation Service engaged directly with visitors, providing explanations about the project and its objectives.
Beyond the activities at the stand, the Guardia Civil also took part in the event “Introduction to the 2026 Cluster 3 Call and pitching”, where bilateral meetings were held with companies and stakeholders from the security sector.
Through these dissemination activities, AI4COPSEC reached a wide audience of professionals, including representatives from industry, SMEs, public authorities and end-users at national, regional and local levels, as well as university and secondary school students.
According to the event organisers, SICUR 2026 welcomed more than 47,000 professionals from 83 countries, confirming its importance as a major international meeting point for the comprehensive security sector.
