The GEO Global Forum 2025, themed “The Earth Talks”, is taking place in Rome, Italy, from 5-9 May at the Auditorium della Tecnica. This milestone event celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) and aims to advance Earth Intelligence for All through the adoption of the Post-2025 Strategy Implementation Plan.
Bringing together global leaders, ministers, scientists, and citizens, the forum focuses on how Earth observation data can drive actionable solutions for critical issues such as food security, ecosystem restoration, disaster prevention, and the triple planetary crisis (climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss).
The European Union plays a significant role at the event with an impressive booth led by the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), showcasing more than 60 Horizon projects. As part of the HADEA EU booth, AI4COPSEC will be showcased alongside many other pioneering Earth Observation projects. Visitors can learn more about our contributions and innovations, featuring projects including Theia and Terra, among others.
